Libraries Needed Now More Than Ever
The U.S. Book Show opened on Mary 25th with keynote speaker and sociologist Eric Klinenberg, author of the bestselling book Palaces for the People, How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization and the Decline of Civic Life. After thanking librarians for their work he stressed that as our nation begins to recover, we need our public libraries now more than ever before.
